BULLYING AND MOBBING UNDER MARTIAL LAW: CONSEQUENCES AND PREVENTION STRATEGIES

SUMMARY:

This article examines the phenomena of bullying, mobbing and their various forms in the context of a full-scale armed invasion, with a focus on the problems faced by the internally displaced population in Ukraine. The aim of the article is to conduct a comprehensive analysis of the phenomenology, forms of manifestation and consequences of bullying, cyberbullying, mobbing and cybermobbing in a state of martial law, as well as to summarise current prevention strategies and response protocols for professionals in the social and educational sectors. The research methods include theoretical analysis of scientific and regulatory sources, the comparative method, and the systematisation and generalisation of domestic and foreign scientific literature on the subject under study. Theoretical analysis of the source base has shown that, under martial law, bullying and mobbing have taken on new forms and scales, whilst cyberbullying has moved beyond the educational environment, taking on the characteristics of a hybrid threat. A comparative analysis of the four phenomena – bullying, mobbing, cyberbullying and cybermobbing – made it possible to distinguish their legal grounds, forms of manifestation and consequences for the victims. The need for interdisciplinary cooperation between specialists in the fields of psychology, pedagogy, social work and law has been substantiated. It has been established that a key prerequisite for ensuring the psychosocial well-being of vulnerable population groups is the implementation of trauma-informed prevention strategies. The findings have practical significance for the development of effective mechanisms to counter these phenomena and for the formulation of state social policy regarding the protection of vulnerable population groups in the context of armed conflict. Looking ahead, it is important to develop comprehensive support programmes for affected individuals, taking into account the specificities of wartime and the experience of the international community.
