ACTIVATION OF PERCEPTION AND UNDERSTANDING OF SPEECH BY CHILDREN WITH HEARING DISORDERS IN THE CONTEXT OF EMERGENCY OF ITS DEVELOPMENTAL SYSTEM
SUMMARY:
The article provides an understanding of the emergent nature of the functioning system of interrelated elements in the development of speech in children with auditory perception disorders and the possibilities of generating qualitatively new properties of it (the system) when perceiving and understanding the content of speech. In the educational process, the effectiveness of children’s learning directly depends on the activity of neurons in their brains, the speed of formation of ensembles of neurons in the learning process. Ensuring the activation of the activity of the largest possible number of neurons, the formation of their ensembles during the perception and understanding of speech text (both oral and written) by children with hearing impairments due to the use of high-quality teaching methods is a priority in modern special pedagogy. The authors reveal the meaning of sensorimotor processes as a result of learning to perceive, understand and reproduce the content of speech provided by the child’s intellectual actions. The method of teaching intellectual and perceptive actions of children with impaired auditory function is described. The effectiveness of the method of teaching children intellectualperceptive actions during speech perception is proven, which provides the possibility of reducing the distance between the child’s existing speech difficulties and obtaining a positive result due to not only the activation of his sensory sphere, but also unmanifested (hidden) intellectual abilities, the generation of which is regulated (caused) by the system itself. It is explained to parents, teachers, and people who interact with children with hearing impairments, about the importance of realizing that children (students), even with optimal hearing aids, spend a certain amount of time mastering the skills of quickly processing sound signals and their recognition. The proposed innovative method of teaching children intellectualperceptive actions is effective and efficient in the work of teachers, it is also available for mastering by parents of children with special educational problems.
