CORRECTION OF SPEECH DISORDERS OF PRE-SCHOOL CHILDREN USING ISOTHERAPY AS ONE OF THE FORMS OF ART THERAPY

SUMMARY:

The article reveals the peculiarities of the use of isotherapy, as one of the most popular techniques of art therapy in the correction and prevention of speech disorders of preschool children. It is noted that art therapy activity combines developmental, educational and corrective effects, which provides ample opportunities for solving various pedagogical tasks. The essence of the concepts ‘art therapy’, ‘isotherapy’ is substantiated, and the pedagogical potential of isotherapy is revealed on the example of exercises in the correction of deviations in the speech development of preschoolers. It has been proven that the goal of isotherapy is not to teach a child to draw or sculpt, but to help him cope with personal problems, to start expressing his own feelings, because based on the products created by the child, it is possible to better understand the child’s experiences, the nature of his emotional state. The author proved that art is the space where creativity is the center of activity of a small child, it is naturally woven into the child’s life, is an integral part of its development. Various methods, forms, types and means of isotherapeutic activity are proposed for successfully involving children in creative activities. Emphasis is placed on the importance of selecting creative tasks taking into account the peculiarities of speech development of each child, so that any actions of the child during creative work are interesting and pleasant for him and bring the expected results. It was determined that the integrative form of art therapy is aimed at correcting various deviations in the development of children, promotes the development of speech, mental processes, emotional and volitional sphere, and interpersonal interaction of preschool children.
