SUMMARY:

In the society of the third millennium the personality being able to think creatively and innovatively achieves great success. So, the development of such an educational system that would be adapted to the dynamics of a technological and social progress to new training concepts is very important. The mission of the New Ukrainian school is to help every student reveal and develop his or her skills, talents and capabilities based on partnership between a teacher, students, and parents. Future graduates are the generation that will create the new Ukrainian history. Therefore, the problem of finding new ways, educational technologies, forms, methods and means of senior school students’ creative thinking development is considered to be relevant today. The article describes the main approaches to the understanding of the “creative thinking” concept in the works of national and foreign researchers. The main educational means of senior school students’ creative thinking development are information and communication technologies, interactive technologies, project and case methods. ICT is one of the most effective means for intellectual abilities and creative thinking development. The main information and communication technologies include electronic educational resources; electronic encyclopedias; forums; audio and video chats, multimedia presentations; virtual tours and simulators. The project method develops students’ cognitive skills, the ability to construct their knowledge and navigate in the information space. The use of the case method in the educational process stimulates students’ individual activity, creates positive motivation, develops creative thinking. The interactive technology and business games enrich basic knowledge and skills, increase motivation.
