FORMING FUTURE TEACHER’S PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCE AND CREATIVE POTENTIAL BY MEANS OF PEDAGOGICAL PRACTICE AT RECREATIONAL CAMPS FOR CHILDREN
SUMMARY:
The article deals with the aims, forms of organization, stages and tasks of summer pedagogical practice at recreational camps for children and its contribution to the formation of key components of future teachers’ professional competence and creative potential. The meaning of collective creative activities as a factor developing creative skills of students-future pedagogues has been revealed in the paper. The preparatory, main and final stages of the educational work at a camp have been described as well. They help a pedagogue to plan his/her activity for a shift; they contribute to the formational of the creative approach to the educational activity considering age peculiarities of children, the level of their education and development, as well as their individual psychological characteristics. Besides, the following activities of a student having pedagogical practice at a recreational camp for children have been reviewed in the study: organization of team activity, competitions, concerts, which are carried out on the basis of amateur activities, initiative and creative ideas of a future pedagogue. Implementation of the course “Methods of educational work at a camp” as well as pedagogical practice into the educational process of higher educational institutions is extremely important for the formation of future teacher’s main competences.
