ESTIMATING THE EFFICIENCY OF USING ORGANIZED MOTOR ACTIVITY OF STUDENTS OF SPECIALIZED SCHOOL

SUMMARY:

Recently the main indicators of Ukrainian school students’ health have become worse, which shows the insuffi￾cient attention to the physical education of students, so there is the necessity of implementing additional means of phys￾ical activity into the course of physical training of secondary schools. Therefore, the issue of organized influence of physical activity on the development of psycho-physiological properties and functional condition of students is relevant and requires further studying. The article is aimed at estimating the efficiency of using organized motor activity of stu￾dents of specialized schools by the comparative analysis of functional and psycho-physical state of 12-16-year-old chil￾dren with different levels of motor activity. The experiment involved 320 students (156 school students with high phys￾ical activity due to additional physical load; 164 high-school students with regular program of physical education, but with the increased intensity of the mental load). The diagnostics of psycho-physiological characteristics and functional state of students was carried out on the basis of the analysis of mental health dynamics, nervous system disorders, eval￾uation of health indicators, activity, mood and heart rate, as well as the results of evaluation of neural and sensomotor properties. As the result of the experiment it has been revealed that the working capacity of school students with insuf￾ficient physical load and informational overload is maintained by the “end spurt”. Mental activity of students with high physical load remained stable by the end of the week. Besides, the experiment has confirmed the positive influence of regular physical activities on the neurodynamic functions and sensomotor system despite the genetic determinacy of these properties. Heart rate variability proves the fact of athletic overexertion of school students’ organism because of mental overload and insufficiency of physical activity. Besides, these students’ functional state decreases by the end of the week, which is manifested in poor health and bad mood. Therefore, the organized physical activity improves the state of the nervous system, contributes to the development of neurodynamic properties, increases the mental capacity, contributes to the increase of adaptive abilities and improves health in general.
