THEORETICAL FOUNDATIONS OF FUTURE PRIMARY SCHOOL TEACHERS’ MOTOR SKILLS FORMATION WHEN PREPARING FOR PHYSICAL CULTURE TEACHING AT SCHOOL
SUMMARY:
Social changes in society require high demands on the quality of professional training of teachers who can successfully implement training activities on the subject, take part in fitness and sports events with students, be physically educated. Mastering the techniques of basic physical actions of future primary school teachers is necessary for proper understanding of the structure of movements, a beautiful demonstration of the technique of doing exercises for students to develop high motivation to Physical Education lessons. Feeling free and confident in the classroom, a teacher will be able to explain the subject to students, correct their mistakes in order to evaluate their level of technical training. Forming methods of physical education teaching and developing motor skills of future primary school teachers, especially female students, is an extremely difficult task for higher educational institutions. This can be explained by the absence of most female students’ positive attitude towards Physical Education lessons, low motor skills and poor health. Any training begins with the formation of students’ motivation to learning. If a student does not feel the need for training, then it will be ineffective. It is stated that carrying out a movement skill under extreme (for example, a competition) and usual (trainings) conditions is accompanied by psychic states of different intensity and modality. It can be concluded that one of the most important tasks of primary school teachers is searching for methods and ways of increasing the efficiency of motor skills formation in the training process. A teacher should use a complex of effective methods and tools when forming female students’ motor skills at different stages of training. This contributes to the improvement of all movement forms and physical actions.
