AGE DETERMINATION OF PSYCHOLOGICAL FEATURES OF THE DEFERRED LIFE SYNDROME UNDER MARTIAL LAW CONDITIONS

SUMMARY:

The article is devoted to the study of psychological features of the deferred life syndrome under martial law conditions. Modern theoretical and empirical studies of Ukrainian and foreign researchers highlight the transformation of personal life strategies under the influence of prolonged social instability and uncertainty. It is shown that the deferred life syndrome is formed as a specific cognitive-behavioral adaptation in which the present is perceived as an intermediate stage before the “real” life in the future. It has been established that under martial law conditions this attitude intensifies and manifests itself in postponing self-realization, limiting emotional experiences, and reducing life satisfaction. The age-related features of the syndrome, as well as its relationship with procrastination and locus of control, are analyzed. It is substantiated that the spread of this phenomenon is one of the manifestations of psychological maladaptation and requires further research and development of effective psychological interventions.
