ENVIRONMENTAL COMPONENT OF THE SYSTEM OF PROFESSIONAL TRAINING OF SOCIAL WORK SPECIALISTS FOR WORK WITH WAR VETERANS
SUMMARY:
This research provides a theoretical substantiation of the essence of the environmental component within the system of professional training of social work specialists for working with war veterans. The relevance of the study is determined by contemporary social challenges associated with the need to prepare social professionals capable of facilitating the effective readaptation of war veterans to civilian life. Modern scientific approaches to understanding the concept of “educational environment” are analyzed, and it is defined as an integrative educational and practical space within which the professional readiness of future specialists is formed through their involvement in a system of social interactions, values, and practices. The main properties of the educational environment in training specialists to work with war veterans are identified, including adaptability, openness, variability, humanistic orientation, dynamism, interactivity, communicativeness, personalization, plasticity, multi-subjectness, practice orientation, synergeticity, technologicality, and integrity. It is substantiated that these characteristics ensure the effectiveness of professional training oriented toward the real needs of the target group. A structural model of the environmental component is proposed, which includes the following types of environment: educational, family, mass media, youth, information and digital, spatial-local, and cultural-aesthetic environments. Their content and role in the formation of professional competencies of future social work specialists are revealed. Particular attention is paid to the interaction between higher education institutions and social institutions, communities, non-governmental organizations, and other stakeholders as a necessary condition for effective training.
